It is with a very heavy heart we announce the closure of Pershore Brewery.
It has been a hard decision to make, but one that we felt was necessary to ensure our health and wellbeing.
This decision has its roots back in December 2019, when Lizzie sustained a shoulder & neck injury which meant she was unable to brew or lift casks.
With the COVID situation delaying decisions, we had hoped that we were going to sell the brewery as a going concern, but this was not meant to be.
We decided that we would stay in control and close down the brewery & business in an orderly fashion, which we have now completed.
Over the past five years, we have won eight awards for our beers, through SIBA and Great Taste Awards, along with our beers appearing in many CAMRA beer festivals, including the Great British Beer Festival in London, twice, and BeerX in Liverpool.
We have met many fantastic people, colleagues, customers, suppliers, fellow brewers and all those that have visited our brewery and open nights...Many of whom we now class as friends.
The past five years have been an absolute blast, and we couldn’t have done it without the support of our families, friends and you - our customers....but now it is time to hang up the brewing paddle and look forward to exciting new adventures.
There are so many great local breweries around Worcestershire and we hope all of our followers continue to enjoy real and craft ale from these very hardworking brewers.
